DESCRIPTION: Google said in a blog post late Friday that the eastern end of the boundary between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, near the mouth of the San Juan River, is off by up to 2.7 kilometres in Google Maps because of “an error in the compilation of the source data.” IMPACT: A dispute between the two countries.

DESCRIPTION: A Polish bus falls and crushes on a road of the Alps because the driver followed the GPS’s instructions. However, according to the road signs, the road is prohibited for bus. IMPACT: 26 deaths.
